Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-26

By using Sadhana you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

What Sadhana is

Sadhana is a personal-practice app built around the Bhagavad Gita. It pairs each verse with a conversational guide (the “sakha”) who helps you reflect on what the verse asks of your day. It is for daily reflection — not for crisis support, medical guidance, financial advice, legal advice, or clinical therapy.

Your account

What you can do

What you cannot do

If we detect misuse, we may suspend or terminate your account without notice.

The sakha can be wrong

The sakha is an AI. It is grounded in the Gita and tuned carefully, but it can occasionally misread a verse, hallucinate a detail, or land the wrong emotional register. You are the final interpreter of what the verse means for your life — Sadhana is a companion, not an authority.

If a response doesn’t sit right with you, please email [email protected] or use the “this doesn’t sit right” flag (coming soon).

Subscriptions

The free tier permits up to 20 messages per day. The Plus tier (when introduced) will permit up to 50 messages per day and unlock additional features such as PDF export of Your Gita. Pricing and exact terms of subscription will be presented to you at the moment you subscribe.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sadhana is provided “as is” without warranty. The founder is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, we will tell you in the app the next time you open it. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document reflects the most recent change.
